Adapted from Keigo Higashino’s novel of the same name, Hollow Cross employs a non-linear narrative to unravel a story spanning 21 years, two generations, and three families. Beginning with the murder of journalist Sayoko Hamaoka, it delves into a dark past of Fumiya and Saori, former lovers implicated in a crime 21 years ago, touching on themes such as justification of death penalty, while exploring guilt, redemption, and the complexities of justice and punishment.
