The Vegetarian | 素食者

Adapted from Han Kang’s novel of the same name, The Vegetarian is transformed into a three-act play, told from the perspectives of the protagonist’s husband, brother-in-law, and sister. It tells the story of Yeong-hye, a housewife who, after a haunting nightmare about human cruelty and bloodshed, decides to stop eating meat and ultimately desires to become a tree.
